Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a medical-surgical setting. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of patient care and demonstrate the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Position Details:

• Location: Great Bend, KS
• Start Date: 10/4
• Shift: Days from 06:45 to 19:15
• Weekend Requirements: 2 weekends per month
• Holiday Requirements: Required in rotation
• Floating Requirements: May float within scope to the Emergency Department

Experience Requirements:

Applicants should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital medical-surgical setting. Experience with medications such as Heparin, Insulin, Amiodarone, and Cardizem is preferred.

Licensure and Certifications:

Candidates must possess a valid Kansas Registered Nurse license or a Compact RN license, along with current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.

Orientation and Credentialing:

• Orientation: Virtual orientation occurs every Monday.
• Credential Submission: Credentials are due 1 week prior to the start date.

Additional Notes:

This facility is a nicotine-free environment. Local candidates are welcome, with the expectation of a permanent transition following the initial contract. The position offers bi-weekly pay and includes an 8-hour no-bill orientation. Acceptable cancellations can occur up to 2 times per month with a minimum notice of 2 hours.
