Dare to learn new skills, advance in your career and make an impact at Henkel. What you’ll do Develop new hair care and styling formulations. Problem solve, generate and analyze data, interpret results, lead key tasks to completion by conducting well‑designed experiments, interpreting results, and recommending next steps. Understand product development and business processes, regulatory requirements, and test methods, and conduct laboratory experiments. Identify and assess technical business opportunities, provide recommendations to management. Develop product or technologies for hair care and styling applications that meet performance, quality and timing requirements. Conduct own laboratory experiments, stability and efficacy testing, detailing experiments, analysis, and summarizing results. Maintain documentation of lab results, conclusions and next steps. Create technical reports and present experimental data and results. Develop a strong understanding of the product development process and each step. Seek out and read industry literature, gain basic industry regulations knowledge, and look for inventions and improvements to hair color formulations. Work with a cross‑functional team to bring new products to market. What makes you a good fit BS/MS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field plus 0–4 years of experience. Experience in the related field, preferably Hair Color/Care or Consumer Products formulation. Strong problem‑solving skills and a positive attitude. Strong communication and analytical skills.
