Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Preoperative Care Schedule This position offers flexible scheduling options, with either 4 ten-hour shifts or 3 twelve-hour shifts per week. Participation in weekend rotation and on-call schedule is required, including one weekend call day and one weekend scheduled shift per four-week schedule. Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Preoperative Care team in a surgical center setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in surgical care and the ability to provide exceptional patient care in a high-volume environment. Responsibilities Manage preoperative care for patients undergoing surgical procedures. Provide thorough preoperative assessments and patient education regarding the surgical process. Administer IV therapies and medications as needed. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process. Scrub for surgeries and assist in operating room procedures as required. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current and unexpired Registered Nurse license. BLS certification required. IV skills and surgical care experience, including scrubbing.
