Position: Medical Director -Part-Time/Contract Location: Missouri, MO Job Id: 257 # of Openings: 1 PT/Contract Medical Director - Psychiatrist Flexible Schedule We are seeking a part-time/contract Psychiatrist Medical Director for a role at an inpatient facility a combination of clinical leadership and direct patient care. Overview Medical Director functions - chair medical executive committee meeting, pharmacy and therapeutics committee meeting, be available for any questions about a policy, or other administrative questions that might come up; be available for any state or accreditation audits. Admissions have to be signed off on by MD within 24 hours of admission. 20% of charts need to be signed off on Chemical and physical restraint authorization Physician-owned and operated organization. Competitive compensation. Flexibility: PT 1099 contractor opportunities available. Ability to focus on the patient - not office management, including credentialing, licensure, billing, and collections. Requirements Active Unrestricted Medical License in the State of Missouri or ability to obtain. Active DEA in Missouri or ability to obtain. Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist.
