Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a school-based Speech Language Pathologist and play a pivotal role in supporting students' communication needs for the upcoming academic year. This full-time position runs from August 18, 2026, through June 10, 2027, ensuring steady and meaningful work within an engaging school environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active license to practice as an SLP in North Carolina
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Prior experience working within a school setting is highly desired
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to adapt your clinical approach based on evolving caseload needs (caseload to be confirmed)
- Enthusiasm for making a daily difference in children’s educational experiences
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver evaluations, diagnostics, and therapy to K-12 students in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to ensure holistic student support
- Document progress, maintain records, and participate in student-focused meetings
- Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, adjusting as needed depending on student requirements
- Remain flexible for potential consideration of teletherapy (voco) as needed during the contract
Position Details:
- Full-time schedule: Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week
