Job Description
L’Industrie Pizzeria is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Prep Team Member to support our kitchen operations. This role is essential to maintaining the quality and consistency of our food. You will be responsible for preparing ingredients, organizing inventory, and ensuring the kitchen is fully stocked and ready for service.
The ideal candidate works with focus and efficiency, takes pride in consistency, and understands that strong prep is the foundation of a great service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients according to L’Industrie’s recipes and specifications (slicing, portioning, etc.).
- Label, date, and properly store all food items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas, walk-in, and dry storage.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate low-stock items to supervisors.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Support pizza makers and kitchen team during busy periods as needed.
- Previous kitchen or prep experience preferred.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain consistency.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
