Job Title

Assist with the ambulatory patient's arrival during a patient session. Monitor basic physiological parameters. Provide direct patient care in accordance with the procedures of the various patient sessions and as appropriate to the ages of the patients served. Demonstrate proficiency and understanding of blood specimen procurement within scope of practice. Administer medications in accordance with established guidelines. Demonstrate competency in performing all procedures within scope of practice and requirements of position as appropriate to the age of the patients, their growth and development. Provide continuous support to provider for all patient related tasks. Telephone and appointment scheduling. Be knowledgeable of emergency procedures. Be responsible for maintaining exam rooms, utility rooms, and supply carts in a clean and orderly condition and ascertaining that all are supplied appropriately and that equipment is maintained. Report all necessary information and/or unusual occurrences of an urgent nature as they develop.
