Analyst, Entertainment Operations

As an Entertainment Operations Analyst you will be responsible for monitoring and tracking guest satisfaction metrics, managing reconciliation reports for Entertainment Departments, and collaborating with Finance to adjust operational budgets. This role involves utilizing Qualtrics, Essbase, Power BI, Tableau, and recruiting software to analyze data, identify trends, and facilitate informed decision‑making. Responsibilities Budget Management: Collaborate with Finance and the Entertainment Leadership team to submit annual budget plans, create ad‑hoc reports, and operational dashboards using Essbase, Power BI, and Tableau. Track adherence to the operational budget and provide regular updates on budget performance, identifying areas for improvement or cost‑saving opportunities. Guest Satisfaction Reporting: Track and report monthly, Year‑Over‑Year (YOY), and Year‑to‑Date (YTD) Guest Satisfaction Score and Net Promoter score using Qualtrics. Maintain the Qualtrics Entertainment survey comment word model and create dashboards to support leadership in reviewing guest feedback and identifying root causes. Entertainment Revenue Analysis: Work with the Manager of Entertainment Revenue to review monthly and YTD results of department revenue streams, identify trends, and support forecast achievement. Entertainment Department Reconciliation: Collect monthly reconciliation reports from all Entertainment Departments, consolidate them, and submit accurate reports to Finance. Operational Expense Monitoring: Inform Finance of unexpected changes in operational expenses and collaborate to adjust the forecast based on real‑time data. Guest Demographics Database: Maintain a guest demographics database, updating it throughout the year to reflect changes that may impact operations and collaborate with relevant teams for accuracy. Recruiting and KPI Tracking: Download data from ROSE recruiting systems to track conversion rates of applicants and leads from social media, assisting the Director of Entertainment Talent in developing recruiting strategies. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field. Expert knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel. Experience with Tableau, Power BI, and Qualtrics preferred. Knowledge of SQL, data visualization, data integration, data modeling, and databases. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Ability to apply critical thinking to understand business issues. Ability to model data effectively. 2–3 years of data analytics and financial reporting experience, preferably in the hospitality or entertainment industry. Full‑time work location: South Florida (Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area). Office work Monday–Thursday; work from home on Friday. At Carnival, your total rewards package is much more than your base salary.
