About the Role:

Lucia's Berkeley is looking for a passionate and skilled Pizza Cook to join our kitchen team in the heart of Berkeley, CA. If you love crafting delicious, high-quality pizzas and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook pizzas to order, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
• Stretch, top, and bake dough according to established recipes and standards
• Manage pizza station during service, maintaining speed and accuracy during high-volume rushes
• Monitor oven temperatures and cooking times to ensure perfectly baked products
• Prep ingredients including sauces, toppings, and dough as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in compliance with food safety standards
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth, efficient service

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a pizza cook, line cook, or in a similar kitchen role preferred
• Familiarity with pizza dough handling, stretching techniques, and oven operation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (Food Handler's Card a plus)
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
