Job Summary:
Pediatric Float Registered Nurse position located in Prescott Valley, Arizona. This role involves providing care to a mixed unit with adult and pediatric patients, requiring flexibility to care for both populations. Candidates must hold their nursing license and bring it on the first day of work.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 0700/1900 and 1930/0730; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current nursing license; BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; minimum of 3 years of nursing experience; experience working with children required; willingness to care for adult patients as well.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in pediatric and adult acute care settings.
• Float: Float into the medical-surgical telemetry unit caring for adult MST patients, or to the labor and delivery unit if experienced.
• Additional Information: Must take and pass the dysrhythmia exam within two attempts prior to signing the contract. Must participate in holiday rotations to distribute holidays fairly.
• Experience and Skills: Strong pediatric nursing experience is required; nurses with less experience or recent graduates may be considered. No titration of drips is required.
• Equipment & Monitoring: Ability to read telemetry strips; remote monitor techs available for adult MST patients; bedsides monitors present for pediatric patients.
• Dress Code: Navy scrubs.
• Orientation: Hospital and unit-specific orientation based on experience.
• Cancellations & Policies: Four shifts per contract; three shifts if the contract duration is under 13 weeks.
• EMR System: Cerner.
• Experience Required: 3 years.
• Starting Date: 08/10/2026.
• Location: Prescott Valley, Arizona.
