Warehouse Logistics Associate

Abacus is hiring for a high-volume logistics facility in La Vergne handling HP electronics. We are seeking dependable team members for various general labor roles. Candidates must have a solid command of English for safety and production communication.

Positions include:

• Maintain production lines; requires pallet jack.
• Sort and discard non-working products; segregate materials by carton, plastic, and equipment type.
• High-speed scanning, system data entry, and palletizing items.
• Scan returned items; open packaging to locate barcodes when necessary.

Site requirements and compliance:

• 75% English proficiency (speak, read, and understand).
• Non-climate-controlled warehouse but well ventilated; must be comfortable with seasonal temperatures.
• Strict "No Electronics" policy (phones, smartwatches, tablets). Metal detector screening daily.
• First 2 weeks: Zero call-outs.
• First 90 days: Max one (1) call-out.
• Temp-to-Hire; permanent hire eligibility begins near 11 months.
• Candidates must disclose any prior FedEx facility work history immediately.

Onboarding process:

1. Complete application and digital paperwork.
2. Complete professional screening/verification.
3. Visit the Smyrna office (105 Jefferson St) for Safety Evaluation and 3-minute oral swab drug screen.
