Job Title

Emergency Room (ER) - Registered Nurse - Travel

Location

Shawnee Mission, KS

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Includes Weekend Availability | No On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a small, non-trauma emergency room setting
• Assess, triage, and monitor emergency patients throughout the shift
• Collaborate with a small nursing team to deliver safe and effective care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Respond to changing patient conditions and prioritize care accordingly

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Prior Emergency Room nursing experience
• Ability to work night shifts including weekends
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a small or community-based emergency department
• Comfort working in a low-volume, non-trauma ER environment
• BLS and ACLS certifications
