SQF Practitioner / Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Details SQF Practitioner/Quality Assurance Specialist will oversee the quality of all products and services that our organization produces. Responsibilities include developing quality standards, conducting tests and identifying issues in the production of our products or services. Ultimately, the role works with a team to ensure our final products meet our organization’s standards across the board. Overseeing the development, implementation, review, and maintenance of the SQF system. Preparing the company for SQF certification audit. Representing senior site management and ensuring the SQF system is effective. Performing routine inspections and quality tests. Identifying and resolving workflow and production issues. Ensuring that standards and safety regulations are observed. Discussing issues and proposed solutions with superiors. Documenting quality assurance activities and creating audit reports. Making recommendations for improvement. Creating training materials and operating manuals. Conducting product inspections when deemed necessary and evaluating data to determine possible causes of problematic situations with the help of other departments as needed. Setting and enforcing standards for health, safety, and legal compliance. Correcting problems by identifying resources, initiating a problem resolution procedure, and developing a corrective action plan when necessary. Interpreting data and measuring parameters as required to determine quality deviations and their causes. Monitoring the progress of corrective actions when product defects are identified by confirming completion dates. Maintaining compliance, crisis management, continuous improvement, and building relationships with external parties. Ensuring accurate and consistent documentation of all activities, facilities, equipment, and instructions during the manufacturing process to confirm items are in good condition before distribution or sale to third parties. Position Requirements At least a high school graduate. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality assurance role in the same field or industry. Knowledgeable in the basic concepts of quality assurance, such as quality control principles, methods, and systems. Excellent communication skills to exchange information with colleagues and other departments regarding production issues. Strong analytical skills to determine probable causes of product defects and appropriate corrective actions. Excellent problem‑solving skills to identify root causes of defects and devise solutions that eliminate or reduce defect risks. Ability to work under pressure and time constraints while efficiently completing tasks. Good interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, colleagues, and customers. Strong organizational skills related to scheduling, workload organization, and prioritization. Capability to work independently and cooperate with other departments as needed. Ability to handle complex, detailed, and multiple tasks simultaneously to accomplish all tasks efficiently. Must follow up with management to ensure products are delivered on time and meet pre‑determined deadlines.
