Management Level: Class 4 Applicants will be considered for Lead openings. The Lead will oversee the assigned area and keep overall productivity going. The Lead will help train new hires, bid trainees and cross training. The Lead will help out in case of absenteeism. The Lead will fill in for personal breaks and emergencies. The Lead is there for guidance when the supervisor is not present. The Lead will stay during breaks to help clean the area and prep the equipment for start-up after the break. The Lead will communicate effectively; giving verbal feedback to supervisors, other departments and co-workers. Bi-lingual skills a plus. Tasks include standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting and reaching. These positions work in a hot, humid environment and slippery surfaces. Requirements: Team Member must be dependable, work well with others, self-motivated and willing to come in early and stay late when necessary. Candidates with 6 or more attendance points/and or any suspension discipline on file within the last 12 months both at the time of positing will not be considered. Available to bargaining unit team members only. This position is slated for team members who are currently working at the Joslin complex plant ONLY. Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner. Work Shift: A Shift (United States of America) Pay Range/Rate: $23.70 Incentives: Annual Incentive Plan: No Long-Term Incentive Plan: No Any listed amounts represent the base pay range. Additional compensation may be available for this position based on various factors such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonuses. Pay is just one part of Tyson’s total compensation package.
