Project Scheduler
B&D Industries
Summary The Project Scheduler plays a vital role at B&D, collaborating closely with the Preconstruction Team and Project Management staff to ensure the effective use of construction schedules. Their primary responsibilities include identifying critical path activities within schedules, developing and updating project timelines, and communicating how tasks are impacted by predecessors and successors from different activities or trades. By closely monitoring progress, this role allows us to gauge whether we are on track, identify any delays, and determine the underlying causes. Moreover, the Scheduler oversees and reports analytical field installation data to the Project Management staff. Working together, they analyze job trends and utilize the information to project, forecast, and plan field crew sizes and timelines, ultimately ensuring that projects are completed within the scheduled timeframe and budget. Other key responsibilities of this role include gathering data, creating timetables and milestones for projects, defining the sequence of work, and identifying potential scheduling delays. As such, the ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of the electrical construction industry, particularly with experience in large data centers, mission-critical, semiconductor, and government sector projects. Demonstrated competence in schedule building, planning, and managing sizable, multi-phase, and multi-year projects is essential for success in this position. In addition to technical expertise, the Scheduler must have exceptional organizational, time-management, influence, and communication skills. These skills are crucial for effective collaboration with various teams and stakeholders involved in the projects. Overall, this role is crucial in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects and meeting critical deadlines. The Scheduler's expertise and dedication are integral to the successful completion of projects at B&D. Benefits
