Overview We are currently seeking an Estimator to provide estimating services for rail and civil construction projects. This position is located in Queens, NY. Come join our team! Responsibilities Prepare Project level Cost Estimates Prepare and maintain Project Level Estimates through various stages of a project, representing the total project scope Utilize various estimating software products Develop estimates for the comparison to bids received Perform site investigations Attend required project and staff meetings Develop estimates for Value Engineering change proposal reviews Support the client in contractor and engineering negotiations Qualifications Min 5 years’ experience in Cost Estimating Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technology related field, or equivalent Thorough knowledge of Railroad Construction practices is preferable but not required Experience with review of Drawings and Contract Specifications Must be able to effectively communicate, possess good interpersonal skills and meet deadlines Full knowledge of computer applications as it relates to Estimation-Hard Dollar or equivalent and MS Office We are committed to your success, and we invest in your growth and development to unlock your full potential. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a positive work environment Compensation: Minimum: $80,000; Maximum: $135,000 The range provided is the salary that the Firm in good faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position. Exact compensation will be determined on the individual candidate’s qualifications and location.
