MRI Technologist - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Fenton, MI. The MRI Technologist will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images. The technologist will exercise professional judgment while performing a variety of MRI examinations and provide patient care under the direction of the Radiology Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification. This is required.
• Active BLS certification at time of submission. This is required.
• Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience. This is required.
• Experience performing a wide variety of MRI examinations and providing patient care in a hospital setting. This is required.
• Preferred: MRI advanced level certification and state licensure where applicable.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in an acute hospital radiology department.
• Familiarity with MRI protocols and ability to adapt protocols for specific clinical indications.

Assignment Details

• Shift days: Monday-Friday.
• Shift hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
• Shift length: 8 hours per day.
