Job Details Location: Tuscumbia, AL 35674 (Northwest Alabama) Facility: Cottage of the Shoals – Long-Term Care (LTC) Position Type: Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment Start Date: September 15, 2025 End Date: October 27, 2025 Assignment Duration: 6 weeks Shift: 12-hour night shifts (18:00 – 06:00) Schedule: Rotating: 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Qualifications Active and unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (Alabama LPN license preferred) Minimum 1 year of LPN experience; long-term care (LTC) nursing experience strongly preferred Ability to work night shifts and rotating schedule in a healthcare setting Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Responsibilities Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to residents in a long-term care facility Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and nursing protocols Monitor, assess, and document residents' health status, progress, and care plans Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and promote their well-being Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to facility policies and healthcare regulations Benefits 401K with Matching Healthcare Dental and Vision About GHR With over 30 years of healthcare staffing experience, GHR Healthcare is your trusted partner in finding the perfect contract or permanent role in the healthcare industry.
