We are looking for a dependable and safety-focused Commercial Truck Driver to haul produce across various routes. If you have excellent communication skills, enjoy working independently, and want the opportunity to build your own schedule while taking ownership of your work, we'd love to have you on board!

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial trucks while following ALL federal, state, and company regulations.
• Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques or equipment such as forklifts, ensuring proper cargo handling and securement according to logistics cargo handling standards
• Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems, adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks, trailers, and cargo to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules, delays or issues during transportation
• Report any mechanical issues, delays, or incidents promptly.
• Transporting produce across assigned routes in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL License (Class A preferred but not required).
• Clean driving record and commitment to safe driving practices.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning on over-the-road (OTR) routes.
• Ability to operate manual transmission trucks safely and confidently.
• Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT requirements, hazard communication standards, and Logbook.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly with great communication.
• Experience hauling produce or refrigerated freight is a plus but not required.
