License: WI RN or compact RN license required. Certifications: AHA BLS and PALS required. Must-Have: Strong Pediatric ICU experience and at least 1 year of CV experience. EPIC experience required. Telemetry test required prior to starting. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our multidisciplinary team. The nursing role requires providing family-centered care to critically ill or injured children and their families. Nurses will care for patients with a wide variety of medical and surgical issues. Common cases include acute head injuries, critical neurological disorders, pulmonary diseases, cardiac anomalies, organ transplantation, and multi-system organ failure. The unit is a comprehensive pediatric facility. A strong background in high-acuity nursing is preferred. Travelers may be required to float to other areas of the hospital as needed. The unit may feature a mix of CVPICU and PICU patients. Extensive experience in pediatric critical care is essential. Strong background in cardiac care is required. Telemetry skills are necessary, and passing a telemetry exam is mandatory. The healthcare environment focuses on holistic approaches to patient care. Candidates should be prepared to work weekends and some holidays as needed. This role involves working in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. Candidates should possess strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a healthcare team. Professional development and continuing education are encouraged.
