Surgical Technologist II - Labor & Delivery - Per Diem - Nights - MHW

Job Title

Facilitates the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.*** L&D or Open cavity surgery experience needed ***12 hour/week, Night shift

Responsibilities

Ensures good working order of equipment and instruments. Assists nurse with patient care. Continually accounts for number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery. Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients. Assists in decontamination, preparation and sterilization of instruments in sterile processing. Receives and processes specimens for delivery to the laboratory. Prepares surgical operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment and supplies. Passes instruments to physician during surgery.
