The Automotive Technician and Trainee role involves performing essential vehicle maintenance and repairs with a focus on air conditioning, suspension, brakes, oil changes, and leak repairs. The position offers the opportunity to work both independently and within a small team, reporting to supervisors or service managers. This role supports career growth through certification advancement and specialization in automotive systems.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain A/C systems
- Perform suspension maintenance and repairs
- Conduct brake service and replacements
- Execute oil changes and address oil leaks
- Perform diagnostic testing and vehicle inspections
- Provide preventive maintenance
- Replace parts as needed to ensure vehicle safety and performance
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in automotive repair
- Proficiency in engine diagnostics and brake systems
- Experience with suspension and A/C system repairs
- Knowledge of oil change procedures and vehicle maintenance
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
