Laboratory Technician

A growing team of board-certified Veterinary Pathologists, as well as highly qualified Laboratory Technicians, are employed in support of our unified international commitment to quality, scientific integrity and client satisfaction. StageBio is seeking a full-time Laboratory Technician to join our Frederick, Maryland facility. Primary Responsibilities Include: Individuals to perform tissue grossing, processing, embedding, microtomy, staining (H&E & special staining), quality control and general histology duties Experience with microtomy is preferred Maintain a safe working environment by following all safety and chemical regulations as outlined in StageBio’s SOPs Prompt and accurate recording of data Daily cleaning of work area and equipment Other duties assigned by management Requirements: Ability to learn multiple tasks within the field of histology Ability and willingness to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Must be capable of understanding FDA regulations, Good Laboratory Practices and StageBio’s SOPs Be very detail-oriented with both routine lab tasks and paperwork Be an effective communicator both verbally and in writing Ability to work both independently and in a team environment Education:

• High school diploma required
• College degree preferred or 3 years’ experience in histology / pathology lab
