Operations Specialist

Duties

Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of staff and unit positions and perspectives and present recommendations that directly contributes to the rapid identification and resolution of potential issues.

Receive general instructions as to scope of assignments and broad objectives.

Gather information, identifying and analyzing issues, coordinating various interrelated projects, and developing recommendations to resolve substantive problems of effectiveness and efficiency of work operations and training support.

Ability to communicate by telephonic contacts with both supported organizations and higher and adjacent headquarters.

Perform daily execution of assignments requires the integrated application of the functions with a solid practical knowledge of all operational regulations, policies and precedents, which affect the operations center.

Serve as Contracting Officer Representative primarily for requirements for heavy equipment and contractors to serve as role players in training scenarios.
