Lead Licensed Practical Nurse - 40hr Day - BWH Dermatology Mohs at Faulkner A $5,000.00 sign on bonus is being offered to eligible new employees hired in our LPN positions. Responsible for providing direct patient care and supervising a team of LPNs and nursing support staff by coordinating patient care activities, overseeing the daily operations of the nursing unit, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes. Essential Functions Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and assisting with activities of daily living. Provide leadership and guidance to a team of LPNs and nursing support staff. Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare providers in the development and implementation of individualized care plans. Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and self‑care techniques. Administer medications and ensure accurate documentation of medication administration. Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, including assessments, care plans, progress notes, and medication administration records. Education Trade/Technical/Vocational Diploma Licensed Practical Nurse required. Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No. Licenses and Credentials Licensed Practical Nurse required. Basic Life Support preferred. Experience LPN Experience 2-3 years required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing practices and procedures. Leadership and supervisory abilities, with experience in team coordination and staff supervision. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to prioritize tasks, make independent decisions, and handle multiple responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment.
