Facilities Specialist- Mid Level

Summary Chenega Integrated Security Solutions is looking for a mid‑level Facilities Specialist Team Lead to support a government customer in Huntsville, AL. This posting is for a pipeline position and we are proactively building a talent pool for future opportunities; we may not have an immediate opening at this time. Responsibilities Coordinate, oversee, and/or manage repair and maintenance work assignments performed by technicians, vendors, and contractors for building maintenance, landscaping, and janitorial work, ensuring services are within the O&M policy. Walk projects with the Project Manager to identify potential issues affecting equipment access and operational requirements for the O&M Program. Coordinate and manage moves, additions, and change activities in collaboration with Space Management to ensure employees have designated seating. Obtain proposals from vendors for procurement of parts, service, and labor for projects, ensuring accurate invoices and timely payment. Barcode new equipment and enter information into the facility integration tool for the preventive maintenance program. Submit and process work orders, ensuring completion in a timely manner and monthly checks against O&M parameters; become proficient in the facility integration tool for service requests and reporting on service order completion rates. Conduct facility inspections, including quality assurance on preventive maintenance inspections and reports, and report anomalies to the Supervisory Facility Operations Specialists. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of two years of related experience. Associate degree focusing on technical, engineering, or architectural areas. Active TS/SCI clearance. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of tools. Facility management certification preferred.
