SUMMARY

The SharePoint Developer will provide Senior level SharePoint and applications development expertise.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide Senior level SharePoint and applications development expertise
• Provides senior level cloud design support and direction.
• Responsible for all aspects of managing the bureau's SharePoint operations
• Serve as a facilitator to SharePoint power users, create and utilize training materials
• Manage the execution and delivery of SharePoint based solutions to business problems in a professional manner using Project Management methodologies
• Create custom form solutions using out of the box technologies including O365 tools
• Manage the scope of SharePoint and Teams collaboration sites for the organization using best practices
• Design and update SharePoint sites using current methodologies
• Responsible for total administration of bureau's web presence on the Department's Intranet sites
• Provide technical support in all facets of web technology from site planning, design, development, and maintenance, to working with the database engineer on connections and repositories, etc.
• Serve as a resource to solve user problems and efficiently respond to user requests
• Provide training as necessary for SharePoint site users and other 0365 tools.
• Use COTS tools to design and develop advanced reporting capabilities
• Present IT topics in Management meetings and Management Officers (MO) conferences.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma with at least 5 years of experience in the IT field.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Five (5) years or more work experience in Information Technology support.
• Experience teaching, coaching, and mentoring professionals on Internet Technology solutions.
• Ability to solve problems and encourage consistent, solid performance.
• Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• English language (written and spoken) communications skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, coordinate activities in multiple locations, act decisively in daily work, and work well in a multi-cultural team environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
• Ability to work independently to assess priorities and manage daily coordination of details with minimal supervision.
