Night time Delivery Driver

Description JOB TITLE: Parts Driver Summary Delivers and picks up parts and equipment for the dealership in a 26 foot box truck. No CDL required. Essential Duties Pick up truck from dealership and drive to Raleigh Pick up loaded truck from dealership at 4:30PM and drive to Raleigh. Responsible for delivery of COD envelope. Unloads truck in Raleigh at the Co-Op Warehouse. Return to Wilmington to drop off truck around 12:30AM. Manages basic maintenance of the truck including filling tank with gas, checking oil and def fluid, keeping it clean and making sure required inspections are performed. Advises parts manager if delivery trucks need major repairs and maintenance. Other tasks as assigned. Requirements Qualifications Education and/or Experience Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one or small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Must have clean driving record for last 3 years.
