Registered Nurse Medical Surgical

Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a Medical Surgical unit. Deliver high-quality interventions and support to promote positive patient outcomes during a 13-week travel assignment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' health status and document findings accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes or emergencies promptly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on procedures, post-discharge care, and health management.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized clinical environment following hospital protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current state licensure.
• Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg nursing experience.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
