We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and manage data and analytics initiatives for a large enterprise environment.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of project management, business stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and data analytics expertise.
This role requires close collaboration with business leaders, technical teams, and offshore delivery teams to drive successful project execution from conception through implementation.
The candidate should have hands-on experience in modern data platforms such as Databricks, along with strong familiarity with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI and/or Tableau. Experience working within large global organizations with mature governance, compliance, and delivery processes is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end project delivery for data, analytics, and reporting initiatives.
Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, gather requirements, and translate them into actionable project plans and technical solutions.
Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirements discovery sessions.
Drive project planning, execution, risk management, issue resolution, and status reporting.
Collaborate with data engineers, architects, business analysts, and reporting teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
Work closely with offshore development and support teams in India, ensuring effective communication, prioritization, and execution.
Coordinate cross-functional teams across business and IT organizations.
Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, dependencies, and deliverables.
Establish and maintain project governance, reporting, and documentation standards.
Track project milestones and provide regular updates to executive leadership and business stakeholders.
Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, data governance, and security standards.
Drive adoption and change management activities associated with delivered solutions.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in Project Management, Program Management, or Technical Delivery roles.
Proven experience managing enterprise-scale Data & Analytics projects.
Strong experience engaging senior business stakeholders and gathering business requirements.
Demonstrated ability to bridge business and technical teams.
Hands-on experience working with Databricks and modern cloud-based data platforms.
Experience with data warehousing, data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration concepts.
Strong understanding of reporting and visualization tools such as:
o Power BI
o Tableau
Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
Experience working within large global enterprises with established project governance and delivery processes.
Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience coordinating and managing offshore teams, particularly teams located in India.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Semiconductor, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or High-Tech industries.
PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certification.
Experience with Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms.
Familiarity with enterprise data governance and master data management practices.
Experience working with executive leadership and steering committees.
Knowledge of SAP and enterprise business processes is a plus.
