Haven House in Allentown, PA is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Counselor to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Provide individual, group, and/or family counseling sessions to clients in need
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on client assessments
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records and case documentation
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care
• Connect clients with community resources, referrals, and support services
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches as needed
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
• Relevant licensure or certification (e.g., LPC, LSW, LCSW) preferred or in progress
• Prior experience in a counseling, social services, or human services setting
• Strong interpersonal and active listening skills with a client-centered approach
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy, discretion, and professionalism
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care and evidence-based counseling practices
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a caseload effectively
