If you thrive in a dynamic emergency department environment, enjoy teamwork, and are ready to make an immediate impact, this could be an excellent next step in your travel nursing career.Job Details\n \n Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)\n Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract\n Location: Olney, Maryland\n Contract Length: 13 weeks\n Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)\n Shift Duration: 12 hours\n Shifts per Week: 3\n Weekly Hours: 36\n Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,680 - $1,770\n Start Date Options: 10/6/2026 or 11/3/2026\n Weekend/Holiday Coverage: Every other weekend and every other holiday required\n On-Call: None\n Orientation: Required prior to start\n Job Requirements\n \n Active Registered Nurse license eligible for Maryland practice\n Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room RN experience required\n At least 1 completed travel assignment required\n General adult and pediatric Emergency Department experience required\n Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required\n Cerner experience required\n Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms\n Flu vaccination required; COVID-19 vaccination not required\n Comfortable working in a high-volume setting with strong time-management and communication skills\n Responsibilities\n \n Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to adult and pediatric patients\n Perform triage, rapid assessment, and ongoing patient monitoring in a busy ED setting\n Administer emergency medications and initiate timely interventions\n Start and maintain IV access and support blood product administration\n Care for ventilated patients and assist with central line management\n Support procedural sedation administration and monitoring\n Respond to changing patient conditions with sound clinical judgment and prioritization\n Use Cerner accurately for documentation and coordination of care\n Collaborate with the care team to deliver efficient, compassionate emergency care\n \n Apply now to join this Emergency Room Registered Nurse travel opportunity in Olney, Maryland, and make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced emergency department!
