Your Role

• Evaluate resident care and outcomes related to healthcare-associated infections
• Collect, prepare, and analyze infection data, presenting findings and recommendations
• Monitor staff compliance with infection prevention measures
• Develop and deliver educational programs for staff
• Serve as a resource for all departments regarding infection control
• Implement programs and policies to protect residents, staff, and visitors
• Maintain compliance with all regulations, guidelines, and accreditation standards

Wage Range: Up to $42 per hour

What You’ll Bring

• Degree from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current RN license in Iowa in good standing with no restrictions
• CPR Certification
• Long-term care experience required
• Completion of infection control training; ability to develop policies, educate staff, and evaluate clinical performance
