By hiring the best people and helping them grow both professionally and personally, we ensure a bright future for NTT DATA Services and for the people who work here.NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Sr Developer - JBoss/Java Upgrades to join our team in Hunt Valley, Maryland (US-MD), United States (US).This role will be supporting our Customer who doing a JBOSS Upgrade: Upgrade current portal application suite from Java 6 to Java 8 along with JBoss upgradeIn this role you will have the opportunity to: •Engage in overall solution building and Implementation of this development project. •Translate business requirements into functional specifications and able to provide solutions and put detailed design documents for the project. •Perform Coding, Code reviews and manage pull requests.•Co-ordinate with Business owners for Requirement clarifications, UAT and with NTT team as well as client stakeholder for Design approval, Code deployment etc.•Work in an agile environment and follows best practices for agile/scrum and meets sprint commitments.Required skills and experience:7+ years:Software development experience (portal application as well as client/server applications)5+ years: Development experience with Core Java, Java 8, Spring MVC, Sprint Boot, Hibernate, Tomcat, SOA, JSON, XML, and SOAP/REST web servicesExperience in all phases of software development life cycle for all handling different types of requests (especially Core development Projects)SQL and Oracle experience2+ years:Experience in Global (onshore/offshore) delivery modelMinimum of 1 project using DEVOPs CI/CD pipeline using tools like Maven, Jenkins etc.Degree: Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent work experienceThe ideal candidate will also have:Experience on JBoss and WildflyAny upgrade project experienceHealth Care industry experience (especially Health care plans)Microservices experienceExperience with AWS Lambda, Aurora DB and DynamoDBAbility to multi-task and lead small development teams to ensure timely software development deliverables Ability to perform coding, code reviews and troubleshoot all software development issues Knowledge of configuring application in AWS cloud.This position is only available to those interested in direct staff employment opportunities with NTT DATA, Inc. or its subsidiaries.
