Benefits Up to 120 hours earned paid time off in the first year of employment Increased paid time off with years of service milestones Paid holidays Profit sharing and more Medical/Vision/Dental 401(k) Short & long term disability 3 weeks of PTO per year Summary The purpose of this position is to provide soldering support to the SMT line in a timely manner, remove and replace SMT components on printed circuit boards to specification, inspect own work to guarantee conformance to company quality standards, and provide an overall stewardship of the assets to our shareholders. Qualifications Basic knowledge of the assigned functions is preferred but will consider those with limited or no prior experience. Three or more years of experience with electronic components preferred. IPC Certification preferred. Experience soldering lead‑free components preferred. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Basic level of proficiency in computer systems. Demonstrated self‑management and problem solving skills. Detail oriented; accuracy and thoroughness required. Ability to prioritize and organize several activities to meet daily requirements. Ability to work overtime when needed. Demonstrated ability to follow manufacturing processes and procedures required. Demonstrated ability to interface with multiple levels of personnel throughout manufacturing required. Strong attention to detail. Effectively manipulate extremely small and/or fragile components and tools. Ability to use visual aids, complicated drawings to verify quality products. Communicate in person, over the phone, email, internet or in writing in a positive and professional manner at all times. Ability to work with minimal supervision and make productive use of time. Ability to read, write and communicate English. Ability to perform accurate mathematic calculations (add, subtract, divide). Ability to understand and adhere to all Vanguard's policies, processes and workplace guidelines.
