We especially use Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Planner, Tasks, etc. We also use some Adobe tools on a more limited basis. Most people with any background in this work will already be familiar with those. Another issue I've run into is sometimes folks who work in communications think that it means they don't need to understand basic numbers or reporting, but we do have to sometimes write about numbers in terms of energy savings, rebate amounts and related program benefits. Another nice to have is familiarity with marketing communications reporting in a basic understanding of the success metrics for various tactics accross communications channels. Most with any background in the field would be familiar. " Develop concepts and write copy for a wide range of projects. Consult with marketing representatives and other subject matter experts to obtain information on product or service and obtain requirements including style and length of copy. Edit or rewrite copy quickly as necessary. Prepare articles, bulletins, marketing and promotional material. Manage multiple projects simultaneously within tight deadlines. Demonstrate creativity and the ability to vary language and tone of messages based on audience, product and medium. Handful of different project(products that the team supports.
