About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Cardiac Cath Lab and critical care or emergency department experience License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Ability to sedate or circulate with left heart catheterization, STEMIs, PCI, right heart catheterization, pericardiocentesis, and temporary wires - Must be able to meet a 30-minute callback time when on-call Description: Cath Lab Registered Nurse needed for day shifts. Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience working in Cardiac Cath Lab along with critical care or emergency department experience. This position is open to first-time travelers. Candidates must be able to sedate or circulate with left heart catheterization, STEMIs, PCI, right heart catheterization, pericardiocentesis, and temporary wires. Preferred skills include the ability to sedate or circulate with pacemakers, bi-ventricular devices, implantable cardioverter defibrillators, and Inari for pulmonary embolism cases. On-call responsibilities include 3 on-call shifts per week and 3 weekend shifts per month. Must be able to meet a 30-minute callback time during on-call. Holidays will be required as scheduled, including 1 holiday shift. Candidates may be required to float within the specialty and other units as needed. Daily census ranges from 4 to 8 patients. The unit consists of 2 rooms, focused on adult patient care.
