A leading national GC is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to oversee a major commercial project in Gainesville, FL

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations from mobilization through closeout
• Manage subcontractors, schedules, logistics, safety, and quality
• Coordinate closely with project management and ownership teams
• Conduct site meetings and maintain short-term schedules
• Monitor project progress and resolve field-related challenges
• Ensure work complies with plans, specifications, and company standards
• Oversee inspections, punch-list activities, and project turnover
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive jobsite

Qualifications

• Senior Superintendent experience with a commercial general contractor
• Ground-up student housing, multifamily, or large residential experience preferred
• Proven ability to lead large, complex construction projects
• Strong scheduling, coordination, and subcontractor-management skills
• Excellent field leadership and communication abilities
• Knowledge of commercial construction safety and quality standards
• Ability to work on-site in Gainesville, Florida
