Bonterra is looking for a Groundskeeper/Porter to keep our 156-unit community looking sharp every day. Working alongside the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll be responsible for the property's curb appeal, including:
- First impressions at entrances, walkways, and common areas
- Lawn care and grounds upkeep
- Trash and waste removal (including dumpster corrals and pickup areas)
- Amenity area appearance (pool, clubhouse, dog park, etc.)
- Snow and ice removal in winter months
- Reporting maintenance issues or safety hazards as you spot them
Given the size of this property, this role covers a lot of ground daily. Reliability and the ability to stay on task without direct supervision matter more here than at a smaller community.
What we're looking for:
- Prior janitorial, custodial, or grounds experience
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual, every shift
- Able to multi-task and manage your own schedule throughout the day
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Resident-first mindset, this is a resident-facing role
- Able to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical labor outdoors daily
