Supervisor on Duty (SOD)

The SOD is responsible for overseeing the Barshop Jewish Community Center facilities, members, guests, staff and activities during evening and weekend hours. Responds to needs and concerns courteously; works independently and as a team member; requires flexibility, good judgment and excellent communication skills. Reports to the Sports and Recreation Director. Responsibilities Supervise Sports & Fitness, Tennis, Swimming pool, ballfields and main facility areas Maintain clean and safe environment Perform ongoing walk-throughs Address unsafe behaviors Secure entrances/offices Deliver premier customer service Address member concerns Report incidents Complete incident/accident reports Oversee evening/weekend staff across departments Coordinate set-ups for programs/events Maintain communication with CID Understand/execute Emergency Action Plans Other duties as assigned Experience & Qualifications Ability to supervise facilities/activities/staff Problem-solving Excellent customer service/communication CPR/AED/First Aid (re-cert available) Previous supervisory experience preferred Microsoft Office/Outlook experience For more information call View phone number on click.appcast.io.
