Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist

Part-Time Accounts Payable SpecialistLHH is partnering with a reputable organization to identify a temporary Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist for their team. This person will be the main team member supporting AP so they need to be familiar with AP processes and be comfortable self-managing their workload. The ideal candidate has at least two years of previous work experience, is organized, and dependable. This opportunity offers a quick interview process and a hybrid work schedule after training in the Bellevue, WA office.ResponsibilitiesProcess vendor invoices accurately and timely, including coding and data entry into the accounting system.Review invoices and supporting documentation to ensure proper approvals and compliance with company policies.Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies or outstanding balances.Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive vendor relationships.Maintain and update vendor records, including W-9 forms and payment information.Assist with month-end closing activities, including accounts payable reconciliations and accruals.Organize and maintain electronic and physical AP files and documentation.Support audits by providing requested accounts payable records and reports.Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice and payment-related issues.QualificationsTwo or more years of accounts payable or general accounting experience.High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred.Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP systems.Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and accounting principles.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Pay Details: $30.00 to $33.00 per hourSearch managed by: Brittany Cona Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
