Production Manager
Relate Search has partnered with a global manufacturer in a rapidly growing industry to add a Production Manager to its Sugar Land facility. This high-profile opportunity will lead daily production within a fast-paced, low-mix, high-volume manufacturing environment. The Production Manager will develop teams, improve operational performance, and ensure the facility consistently achieves its safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals. Responsibilities
- Lead daily production activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity objectives.
- Develop, coach, and hold production leaders and team members accountable for performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase throughput, reduce waste, and improve operational efficiency.
- Partner with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other teams to resolve production challenges and support customer requirements.
- Monitor operational KPIs, identify performance gaps, and implement sustainable corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Production leadership experience within a low-mix, high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate manufacturing teams in a fast-paced operation.
- Strong understanding of safety, quality, continuous improvement, and production management principles.
- Demonstrated success improving productivity, throughput, efficiency, and overall operational performance.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership skills.
