Looking for a rewarding job away from the Las Vegas heat? Join the team at The Retreat on Charleston Peak, a beautiful 62-room mountain resort located just 35 minutes from Las Vegas. We're seeking a dependable, hardworking House Person who takes pride in maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for our guests and supporting our housekeeping team.
Responsibilities
- Support the Housekeeping team with daily operations.
- Clean and maintain all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and outdoor spaces.
- Deliver linens, towels, amenities, cribs, rollaway beds, and other guest requests promptly.
- Restock housekeeping carts, storage rooms, and supply closets.
- Move furniture and assist with room setups as needed.
- Remove trash and recyclables throughout the property.
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate department.
- Assist the Maintenance team with light labor and special projects when needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Provide friendly, professional service to guests and fellow team members.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel or housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
