We proudly pursue top talent with a diverse and global set of experiences and backgrounds.What You'll Do (Responsibilities)Establish and communicate facility audits to include internal, customer, and 3rd registrar auditsEstablish and maintain the organization's audit guidelinesFacilitate audit activities with 3rd party auditors, customers, and internal team members to include pre-briefings, kick off, and debriefingsDocument audit findings and observations using corrective actions and ensure team members complete required actionsEstablish clear criteria to measure supplier performance and recommend the appropriate actions for suppliers that excel (skip lot), or fall short (corrective actions, audits etc)Communicate with vendors as needed to improve performance, resolve issues and support internal teamsWork with cross-functional teams to determine primary issues for customers, and primary reason for returns with suppliers to drive improvement and increase performancePrioritize actions using methodologies including Voice of Customer (VOC), Measurement Systems Assessment (MSA), Failure Mode Analysis (FMEA), Cause and Effect (C&E), and Control Parameter Management (CPM)Utilize appropriate quality analysis tools to review the quality processes to drive improvement and ensure continued compliance with customer requirements, specifications, and quality performance expectationsSchedule and track Inspection and Quality activities to achieve maximum effectiveness and efficiencyEnsure a high level of internal and external customer service by investigating and correcting customer issues and complaintsRegularly report customer and supplier quality metrics such as First Time Quality performance and internal / external defect ratesContribute to team effort by working cross functionally to deliver the desired results for the businessPerform other duties as assignedWhat You Bring (Qualifications & Skills):Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Structural, Systems, or related field from an Accredited Institution1-3 years of experience in distribution, manufacturing, or Supply Chain1-3 years of experience working in Aerospace quality systems preferredAbility to understand and interpret engineering technical data, such as manufacturing or part drawings, to provide guidance to cross-functional teamsSignificant experience working directly with customers and suppliersMust have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong problem solving, organizational, project management and decision-making skillsUnderstand internal and external customer requirements with a high attention to detail in resolving findings Knowledge of aerospace quality standardsAbility to process and effectively communicate information using MS 365 Suite of tools (i.e., PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)Special Requirements:U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.ITAR requirement120.15.
