We’re looking for a Client Service Representative / Veterinary Assistant who enjoys working with both people and pets . This hybrid position is ideal for someone who is comfortable supporting clients at the front desk while also assisting our veterinary team with hands-on patient care. In this role, you’ll split your time between client service responsibilities and veterinary assistant duties , including:

Client Service

• Welcome clients and patients and create a positive experience from check-in to check-out
• Answer phones, go over treatment estimates, and assist with client questions
• Process payments and maintain accurate client and patient information
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners
• Help maintain an organized and efficient front desk

Veterinary Assistant

• Assist doctors and technicians during appointments, exams, and treatments
• Obtain patient histories and help prepare patients for examinations
• Efficiently document all histories and communications in EMR
• Safely restrain and handle dogs and cats
• Assist with sample collection, laboratory work, and diagnostic procedures
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms and treatment areas
• Assist with medications and treatments based on experience and hospital protocols
• Support patient care and hospital workflow throughout the day

What You Bring

• Previous experience in a veterinary hospital as a CSR, Veterinary Assistant, or in a cross-trained role preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable working directly with animals and clients
• Ability to multitask and transition between front desk and clinical responsibilities
• Dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented
• Comfortable working in a busy emergency veterinary environment
• Interest in continuing to learn and develop your veterinary skills
• Must be available nights, weekends and holidays
