Location: Pecos, Texas (Onsite) Work Type: Permanent Positions: 1 Hours: 3640 Hours per Week

Shift Details:

• Night Shift
• 7 On / 7 Off Schedule (Thursday Wednesday)

The Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg Charge Nurse is responsible for overseeing patient care operations during assigned shifts while also providing direct nursing care. This role requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and the ability to manage staff and patient flow in a Med Surg unit.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Minimum 12+ years of RN experience in Med Surg
• Minimum 1+ year of recent Charge Nurse experience (Required)
• Active Texas RN License (Required prior to start)
• BLS Certification (AHA Required)
• Strong knowledge of Med Surg nursing practices and leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in rural or critical access hospital settings
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills
• Experience managing staff assignments and patient flow

Work Environment:

• Medical Surgical Unit
• Onsite role in Pecos, TX
• Leadership role (Charge Nurse responsibilities)

• Must be comfortable with 7-on / 7-off night schedule
