Forklift Operator Day & Night Shifts

Location: Surgoinsville, TN

Pay: $17.00/hour

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Schedule: 12-Hour 2/2/3 Rotation

Available Shifts:

• Day Shift: 6:45 AM 7:00 PM
• Night Shift: 6:45 PM 7:00 AM
• 2/2/3 Schedule: Work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days, then alternate the following week.

Job Summary

We are currently hiring Forklift Operators for a busy manufacturing/warehouse environment in the Surgoinsville area. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for dependable individuals looking for stable, long-term employment with opportunities to grow.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to move, load, unload, and stage materials and products.
• Transport raw materials, finished products, pallets, and supplies throughout the facility.
• Load and unload trucks as needed.
• Properly stack and organize materials in designated storage areas.
• Supply production lines with necessary materials.
• Remove completed products from production areas and move them to designated locations.
• Inspect materials and products for visible damage during handling.
• Complete inventory, shipping, receiving, or production paperwork as required.
• Follow all company safety procedures and forklift operating guidelines.
• Perform routine forklift inspections and report any mechanical or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist with general warehouse and production duties when needed.
• Work closely with production, warehouse, and shipping teams to keep operations running efficiently.

Requirements

• Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to work a 12-hour shift and the rotating 2/2/3 schedule.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical warehouse duties for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be willing to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the rotating schedule.
