As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you’ll support the store leadership team in providing excellent customer service, ensuring fans find the merchandise they love. You’ll use your fandom knowledge to train new recruits and support daily operations to meet sales targets. What You'll Do Provide an engaging shopping experience that encourages repeat visits, leveraging product knowledge and customer service skills Support store operations by stepping in on the sales floor and assisting the management team Open and close the store as needed, handling responsibilities with professionalism Process sales transactions, promote add-on sales, and manage register operations Understand sales goals and KPIs such as UPT and ADT Assist with store layout and merchandising updates Communicate fashion and music trends to management and HQ Work with management to prevent theft and ensure store security Maintain organized stock rooms and a tidy store environment Contribute to building a passionate, collaborative team Perform other duties as assigned by your Store Leader What You'll Need At least 1 year of retail experience; passion for music and pop culture is a plus Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and operational skills High school diploma or GED Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds Additional Details Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Part-time Job function: Sales and Business Development Industry: Retail Referrals can increase your chances of interviewing at Hot Topic.
