Qualifications & Experience:

• Current, active Speech-Language Pathology license for Virginia
• Demonstrated experience or interest in working within school settings
• Comfortable working with elementary-aged children
• Ability to meet time-sensitive credentialing, including a TB test and district-specific background check
• Skilled in both proactive intervention and individualized therapy

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to an elementary caseload
• Conduct assessments, create IEP goals, and track student progress
• Work closely and collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families
• Implement evidence-based therapy strategies tailored to each student
• Maintain required documentation and actively participate in IEP meetings
• Provide support, education, and resources to caregivers and staff as needed
• Serve as a resource within the school community on speech and language development

Position Highlights:

• Contract role beginning as soon as available, continuing through late May 2027
• Approximately 18.75 hours per week (.5 FTE) with all work at a single elementary campus
