Regional Clinical Sales Specialist, Trauma (Salt Lake City, UT) - Johnson & Johnson MedTech - Orthopaedics

Johnson & Johnson MedTech seeks a Regional Clinical Sales Specialist for its Trauma division in Salt Lake City. The role involves providing clinical and logistical support for orthopedic surgical products in operating rooms, managing customer relationships, and ensuring equipment availability across assigned territories.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent clinical and technical support to surgeons during orthopedic surgical cases in operating rooms
• Serve as sole company representative ensuring equipment availability, functionality, and direct customer support
• Manage hospital billing, purchase orders, and troubleshoot physician and customer requests
• Maintain, track, and deploy equipment and assets throughout assigned territory to ensure product availability
• Share clinical insights and marketplace intelligence with sales and marketing teams to support growth

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree OR Associate degree/medical certification (CST, PT, etc.) plus 2+ years professional experience OR 4+ years professional experience OR recent military service
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to relocate to assigned geographic region
• Frequent domestic travel capability including overnight and weekend commitments
• Functional knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and basic surgery
• Strong interpersonal communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Data analysis skills, results orientation, and ability to work independently in complex environments
• Technical product knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, and protocols preferred
